Bethel, CT, February 19, 2019 — Apollo Solar, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of energy systems for remote mobile telecom towers, announces the release of a case study on the benefits of pure solar systems in remote telecom installations.
Starting in 2012, Apollo Solar supplied its systems on over 1,000 remote telecom sites installed by telecommunications company Orange S.A. and Camusat International SAS, a leader in the implementation of telecom infrastructure, across seven countries in Africa. Many installations were sited in regions that posed climate challenges. Analyzing six-years’ worth of data, the case study reveals statistically significant improvements in reliability, total cost of ownership and avoidance of greenhouse gases when pure solar systems are deployed to supply energy to remote telecommunications installations.
“Using solar power for remote energy systems is an easy, reliable solution that pays for itself and continues to cut operating expenses,” explains Apollo Solar CEO John Pfeifer, who authored the study. “Apollo Solar has removed the risks and has proven that the pure solar energy systems are most cost effective, most reliable and most eco-friendly type of energy generation system for remote telecom tower sites.“
The case study is titled “Orange and Camusat Contract with Apollo Solar for Pure Solar Energy Systems: A Case Study in Cost Reduction and Greenhouse Gas Elimination.”
